Jean-Paul Paddack is the Chairman of the Board of Alphamundi. Jean-Paul is a Director in the Conservation Division at WWF International’s headquarters in Switzerland. His team supports a CHF 300 million portfolio for WWF’s priority programs. From 1997 to 2007, Jean-Paul was Regional Representative for WWF Madagascar/Western Indian Ocean Office, coordinating over 40 conservation programs including the creation of the Madagascar Protected Areas and Biodiversity Foundation (created in 2005), of which he is a trustee, an annual budget ranging from CHF 6 to 10 million, and teams ranging from 150 to 750 people. Previous experiences include working at the World Bank with a focus on Africa and Latin American operations and at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Jean-Paul holds an MA in International Economics and African Studies from The John Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a B.Sc. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. A dual citizen of France and the US, Jean-Paul is fluent in French, English and Spanish.

Eric Kuenzi is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Alphamundi. Eric works as a legal and business consultant in his own practice. Eric focuses mainly on start-up companies and new ventures. Eric also serves as a president of the Board of Directors of NouvAiles AG, as a member of the Board of Directors of Gango.com AG and as a Managing Director of PôK GmbH. Previously, he worked during 8 years for a leading business law firm in Zurich, and was a founding partner of one of the first internet companies in Switzerland, aseantic ag. Eric holds a law degree from the University of Neuchâtel and was admitted to the bar as an Attorney at Law in Bern in 2001. As Swiss national, he is fluent in German, French, English and Spanish.


Board of SocialAlpha Investment Fund

Pieter Oostlander serves as member of the Board of Directors of AlphaMundi’s investment vehicle in Luxembourg, and is the Director of the Noaber Foundation (www.noaber.com) in the Netherlands since 2004, as well as a Managing Director at Rosmersholm Professional Services BV. Pieter began his career as Audit Manager for Deloitte & Touche and PWC from 1982 to 1990, then served as Financial Controller at ASM Europe. He then joined Peek Traffic as Finance Director from 1992 to 1997, and after became the General Manager of Peek Fleetlogic for two years. As of 1999 he served as CFO-EMEA at Thomson Prometric / Sylvan Learning Systems, then joined Rigida Group from 2001 to 2004. A Dutch national, Pieter speaks Dutch and English fluently, and conversational German.

Cornelius Pietzner is the Chief Executive Officer of Alterra Impact Finance GmbH, a social impact investment firm in Zurich, focusing on sustainable European companies. He is also President of the Alterra Foundation, a Swiss charitable foundation, which supports cultural and transformation initiatives related to a more human-centered economy. He has had leading roles for 25 years in social impact enterprises, financial management, philanthropy and investments. He served on the Executive Board as Chief Financial Officer at the Goetheanum, General Anthroposophical Society, Switzerland (2002-2011) and was responsible for all aspects of finances. The Goetheanum has affiliates in 90 countries and approximately 8000 related institutions in education, bio-dynamic agriculture, anthroposophical medicine and therapies, socially responsible business and banking. Pietzner is a Trustee/Advisory Board member of various charitable foundations both in the USA and Europe. He was the Director of Camphill (life-sharing) Communities in North America. He is a published author of books and articles and has lectured worldwide. He received his degree in Political Science from Williams College, MA, and was awarded a Thomas J Watson Fellowship.
